I was curious to compare this with the TiZO3 tinted primer/sunscreen. They are very similar, but this one contains ceramides so is more moisturizing and is also a bit lighter in consistency. The color appears lighter as well, but both blend out to the same neutral tint when applied. The TiZO3 is water resistant and this one is not. The TiZO3 gives a bit more coverage and is also more mattifying. I like them both! I was a bit afraid of the disclaimer on both that states “may stain some fabrics” but I have not had this problem thankfully. I always wait at least 5 minutes after applying to my neck and face before getting dressed, to make sure the product sets. I think this reduces potential transfer to clothing.

I was pleasantly surprised with this sunscreen. First off, it doesn't smell like sunscreen. Or anything, which is great if you're sensitive to scents. It's not as thick as most sunscreens and it's super smooth so it melts right into my skin. I got the lightly tinted and I can't tell that it provides any coverage like a foundation (I have light skin) so I think it's more that it doesn't leave white streaks. I have oilier skin and this is matte so it's great for me, but if you have dry skin this probably won't work for you.

Love TIZO AM Replenish SPF 40
This very lightly tinted mineral sunscreen goes on very smoothly (it is "slippery" if you will, but I like that because it lets me spread it very quickly), and best of all, dries matte (so no need to put power over it to soften the shine that many sunscreens leave). Knowing it has ceramides and antioxidants (vitamin C and E) makes me feel that I am protecting my skin beyond just the sunscreen protection. I admit that most of the time in the morning I am rushing. Putting on a product that combines a mineral sunscreen, a very light tint (no white "ghost" look), a matte finish and also moisturizing ceramides and some protective vitamins means that I can quickly protect my skin in one application. Because my skin is dry and I'm old enough to have some wrinkles, I do put Replenix Power of Three on first, then use this Tizo product. For younger, less dry skin, that might be too much. One final thing: I have had two basal cell skin cancers requiring Moh's surgeries on my face. They have left nasty scars. I think I was traumatized by the skin cancer surgeries and I've been almost obsessed with sun screens since then. I have sensitive skin and can only use mineral sunscreens. I've tried so many--and this one is among the very, very best!
