Gentle Moisturizing Cream
I used this after I had a horrible reaction to sunscreen which caused my face to turn very red and swell. This moisturizer is gentle and moisturizing. It provided much relief. I find it is actually more moisturizing than my $160 face cream....hmmmm.

It works so well, but...
When I get a rosacea outbreak, this is one of the only things that doesn't make it worse. It helps my skin heal. I don't like that it contains petroleum, but my skin seems to tolerate it.

I bought this moisturizer to try after having an allergic reaction to my regular moisturizer. I like that it isn’t particularly thick and absorbs into the skin well. I’m not sure that it is very moisturizing but it could just be me. It didn’t make me break out so I will keep using it.

Basic, lightweight moisturizer
I like to use this moisturizer during daytime, perfect for my combination skin especially in the summer, it’s lightweight and doesn’t clog my pores! It keeps my skin hydrated all day. I prefer thicker moisturizer for nighttime since I am currently on topical tretinoin.

I was looking for an effective but affordable facial moisturizer that was gentle on my skin. This one didn't cause any reactions but it felt sticky on my face and it didn't seem to sink into my skin even by the end of the day. I'm so grateful for Vanicream products, ever since my skin started getting more sensitive and reactive. This daily moisturizer is fantastic -- the inclusion of ceramides is a real boost for my dry skin, and I've seen improvement within one full day of using it. I also use the Vanicream moisturizer with SPF, which is similar, but even better for day-wear if you're out in the sun. Best of all, there's no fragrance to irritate my eyes, in any Vanicream product. This moisturizer (without SPF) one is perfect at night. I use it after I apply my prescription tretinoin product -- and it really makes it easier to tolerate. Thanks to Vanicream, I have no more reactive irritation. This can also be mixed with a little foundation if you want to have more color. Thanks for carrying this line, LovelySkin!
