It works so well, but...
When I get a rosacea outbreak, this is one of the only things that doesn't make it worse. It helps my skin heal. I don't like that it contains petroleum, but my skin seems to tolerate it.

Vanicream Daily Facial Moisturizer
I bought this moisturizer to try after having an allergic reaction to my regular moisturizer. I like that it isn’t particularly thick and absorbs into the skin well. I’m not sure that it is very moisturizing but it could just be me. It didn’t make me break out so I will keep using it.

Basic, lightweight moisturizer
I like to use this moisturizer during daytime, perfect for my combination skin especially in the summer, it’s lightweight and doesn’t clog my pores! It keeps my skin hydrated all day. I prefer thicker moisturizer for nighttime since I am currently on topical tretinoin.

Just OK for me
I was looking for an effective but affordable facial moisturizer that was gentle on my skin. This one didn't cause any reactions but it felt sticky on my face and it didn't seem to sink into my skin even by the end of the day. I won't be reordering and will go back to the more expensive moisturizer.

I like this Vanicream daily facial moisturizer—it’s a good basic moisturizer. The price is right. It’s light and no additives or perfumes. Very soothing when my skin was a little irritated. Would recommend, but know it’s not a thick or luxurious moisturizer like some.

I'm so grateful for Vanicream products, ever since my skin started getting more sensitive and reactive. This daily moisturizer is fantastic -- the inclusion of ceramides is a real boost for my dry skin, and I've seen improvement within one full day of using it. I also use the Vanicream moisturizer with SPF, which is similar, but even better for day-wear if you're out in the sun. Best of all, there's no fragrance to irritate my eyes, in any Vanicream product. This moisturizer (without SPF) one is perfect at night. I use it after I apply my prescription tretinoin product -- and it really makes it easier to tolerate. Thanks to Vanicream, I have no more reactive irritation. This can also be mixed with a little foundation if you want to have more color. Thanks for carrying this line, LovelySkin!

Am I the only one who thinks this smells like coconuts / sunscreen? I have a fragrance allergy so hopefully it's ok. Not sure if I got a bad batch. I love the spreadability and texture but I'm not sure it's enough for my very dry winter skin. I think this would be better as a summer sunscreen. It absorbs quickly and isn't tacky, which I love. I bought it to use under tretinoin and then maybe put something heavier on top if I need it.
