A quarter size (based on container instructions) is way too much product for my hair type and made it look greasy and weighed my hair down. This product works best for me on dry hair -- after I have styled it with the blowdryer after washing. Just the smallest amount rubbed into both palms and worked through the top laters of my hair tames the frizz and makes my hair appear healthier. When I use too much, it looks dirty and oily -- so I have to be careful. I did try using it on damp hair, but it seemed to weigh down my fine, color-treated hair. You have to experiment with this product to find the best way to use it on your hair. It is also a great split-end tamer.
