I am almost 1 month in on this supplement and have no notable hair growth yet. I've been told to give it 3 months by my hairdresser who swears by the product, after a recommendation from her dermatologist for her genetic hair loss. The pills leave a fishy taste in your mouth if you don't wash them down with a full glass of water right away. Follow the directions to take them after a meal. They caused me stomach upset when I tried to take them first thing in the morning before I'd eaten.

It takes time, but it is working :-)
I've always had slow-growing, baby-fine hair, and after turning 50, it started looking even thinner :-( I did some research, and Viviscal Pro seemed to have the best track record. While my new growth won't win any awards *yet*, I am also seeing much less hair in my brush and in the shower drain! I bought this for the 2nd time to see if with longevity this helps my hair. I feel my hair the same. But my daughter & husband say they noticed little hairs growing in the frontline where it was thinning. I will need the rest of this box to be completed to fully evaluate if indeed it is the pills helping with growing in thinner frontline. Recommend to try if your hair is thinning.

Less hair shedding
I was experiencing hair loss and decided to give this a try. I haven't seen a tremendous hair growth yet since it's only been month 1 but I can already tell that I'm shedding less hair in the shower. Will need to continuously take this for 6 months to see what it does with hair growth but so far I'm happy with my hair shedding way less than before.

Both me and my husband are using this and we've noticed our hair filling out in some of the thinner areas. You won't end up with the luscious locks of your early 20s, but it does seem to work. 4 stars is because the taste is kinda fishy-tasting - bothers me but not my husband as much. Recommend to give it a try and give it 90-days - you need to give the new hair enough time to grow out - don't give up on it too early.

I was told by my dermatologist that Viviscal and the foam spray from a different brand (for men) are the only 2 products that have been proven to actually make the most significant difference for hair regrowth. So I use both! My hair does grow much quicker with these products and is perhaps ever so slightly thicker, but there are still spots of hair thinning I have. I know that it does take a long time before results appear (6 months before it’s fair to judge a product), so I will decide my final thoughts after a few more months.

Seems to be working?
I've been using these Viviscal tablets for about seven months at this point. I definitely have a lot of baby hairs around my hairline, which is nice. I also think I have less scalp showing on my hair part. However, given how slowly hair grows, I think it's still a bit early to make a final judgment. I plan to keep using these tablets for at least 12-18 months and will re-assess then. So far, though, I'm pleased. And as a side note, I was a bit worried about whether the biotin in these tablets might give me acne, as I have very reactive skin. However, my skin's been about the same.
