I was introduced to this brand by Lovely Skin when I received a sample of another product. I was looking for a cleanser/makeup remover and decided to try this one. The first time I used it, I still had a good amount of makeup left on my face. I decided to use an actual makeup remover and then wash my face with this cream. It had a great, natural smell and does not dry out my skin. Not sure if I would order it again, may try another cleanser by this brand.

This one grew on me
I bought this many months ago and was underwhelmed initially because it was pretty simple. I had a little regret because it was not inexpensive and I thought I liked other cleansing balms and facial milks better, including other Yonka cleansers. Now I know I will reorder it. It is cooling and refreshing while being gentle. It is a cleansing balm texture, and I love that I can stand at the sink and apply upright to a dry face, and work it in for a bit, then emulsify with water and rinse. Sometimes I just am tired and a gel or milk takes more effort at night, leaning over the sink with a wet face etc. I will reorder this when I run out even though I have many cleansers I need to work my way through. I now use this a couple of nights a week, and it feels good on, does a good job, and leaves skin feeling nice. It has a fresh, yonka-like herbal scent.

Miracle wash for sensitive skin!
I started using Yon-Ka products when I began working at a high end salon. Although, I feel it doesn’t get enough recognition as it should, this line completely changed my sensitive combination prone to breakouts skin type. You have to play around with what washes, serums, creams work for you personally, once you do you won’t go back. I’ve even used super expensive LA MER, which made my skin worse. I personally use, this cleanser AM and PM. Yon-Ka dry skin lotion(toner) serum N1 Fluid N1 during the day and elastine jour all for AM. Being 39, I use a combo of the Yon-Ka alpha contour and nutri contour eye creams. For PM I do the same exact switch out Fluid N1 for Hydra N1 it’s thicker for night. And finish with elastine nuit instead of jour because it is the night cream version. I love this combo for my anti aging sensitive combo skin. I have also added the nutri defense serum at night to protect against pollutants and stress. Gives a nice glow in the AM from resting on the skin all night. For exfoliating I recommend the Gommage peel. Amazing right before the shower. I even put that exfoliant on my chest and shoulders upper back. Peels all the dead skin away. Nice glow. This wash is so sensitive and doesn’t strip away any moisture. I have even started using it on my 11 yr. old son’s face. It will lightly remove eye makeup yet I still use sheisedo eye makeup remover as it is gentle and effective. You will love this cleansing cream! No fragrance! No perfume smell!
