It's the best for my allergies

This is one of the few shampoos I can use with my balsam of Peru (BoP) and MI/MCI allergies. It lathers nicely and leaves my hair sqeaky clean without drying it out. I follow it with Vanicream conditioner.

The end of a long search

After months of searching for for a shampoo that didn’t contain the surfactants I’m allergic to AND was also fragrance free and balsam of Peru free, I found it. I was a little worried it would be too harsh on my hair (because it’s thick, long, and curly with a tendency to frizz), but it’s totally fine. I follow with a conditioner I use from another brand, but everything else in my shower is now Vanicream!

I love this, it lathers rich, it's gentle and it cleans effectively without stripping my hair of moisture. I love that it's a "neutral" product that does not irritate. My only compliant is it's a little drying, so I only use a very small amount occasionally when I feel like I need a nice neutral cleanse.

I have allergies to or react badly to almost every skin care product that exists. Therefore to find a shampoo which does not cause even the slightest itch is a miracle. I have always needed to wash my hair every day or every other day due to the continuous itch. I was in the hospital and could not wash my hair for five days, still no itch. I can only hope they do not ever change the formula.
