An illusion!

I bought this mask because I’m on a retinol course & my face is really dry, peeling & very sensitive right now! Unfortunately, this product cannot be used along with retinoids as it causes a burning sensation once you put it, which then turns into a cold sensation once you remove it, I’m guessing that’s because of Alcohol Denat and Menthoxypropanediol, both giving you the illusion that your face is moisturized & refreshed (same as most cheap lip plumbers!!). It is definitely NOT for sensitive skin & your face remains dry after you remove it!! Better invest on expensive products than buy cheap ones & end up throwing them right...?!! Also, before buying ANY skincare product, read the ingredients list! I know you might not understand all of them but TOO MANY ingredients equals too many chemical substances so......

Not what I expected

I was really excited to try this hydrating mask. But the instructions were vague. I was to put the mask on for 5 minutes then massage in the excess. But there is no info on how much to put on. I went with somewhere in between. When the 5 minutes were up, I ended up with a very tacky face that I had to wash off. Then it felt nice.

It is a decent moisturizing mask that leaves your skin pretty smooth, but probably won’t work for somebody with very sensitive skin as it has strong fragrance smell.

Sticky

This product was ok (I've only used it once thus far) The mask is not washed off, and my skin definitely felt sticky. I will continue to use it at night and may revise my review. One complaint I have of ALL the Vichy products I've purchased is the teeny, tiny print on the jar. I had to get out my cheater glasses, and it was still difficult to read.

Nice, but not for sensitive skin

This mask has a nice consistency that feels cool upon application, but absorbs quickly and doesn't stay sticky (as if you just applied a thick layer of aloe). I was surprised that my face felt tight and was very red afterwards. It's too active for sensitive skin, but is probably a great mask for those with skin that can tolerate more active products.

Moisturizing mask

This is a good mask to leave on for a while and makes your skin feel much softer when you remove it. I am giving it 4 stars because of the perfumed scent that I am not a huge fan of, but would overall recommend if you are looking for some hydration.

Wow

Wow! This mask gave the results you dream a skincare product would. I have incredibly dry skin. Most moisturizers do very little for me. When I use this mask, I actually don''t even need to add oil to my moisturizer or use nearly as much. I have also been getting compliments on a glowing complexion! Wow!!! This one actually worked better for me than their more expensive masks. & yes the smell is amazing :)

Soothing

This mask is wonderful after a long day. It is cooling to the skin and helps calm down some of the redness in my face. The smell is heavenly and I like that I can just dab off the excess and apply my other products on top. Great price point as well, the jar should last me many months!
