I’ll definitely be purchasing this again, I use it every day. It’s potent without being harsh, which is obviously so ideal. The gritty texture at first kind of threw me off until I read about why and now I really appreciate it because it lets me know it’s working. Also using a toner first helps with absorption, which is fast anyways like you can use it if you only have 1 minute to get out the door in the morning.

I enjoy several A of S products, but this one always makes me cough during application. I put it aside while using the other A of S products in my regimen. I did find a use for it, though, recently. A new facial mask that I just bought recommended applying a mist once the mask had dried, so I tried using this for that purpose. I will try to use it up and not repurchase.

As a regular user of another brand known for their sunscreen but also a lover of Allies, i wanted to try this out and it did not disappoint! Very luxurious feel to it and glides onto the skin with ease and quickly absorbs without any white cast whatsoever. I was skeptical about the self-tanner aspect but I found it gave the perfect shade of color without any orange or off-putting tint or tone. I find two consecutive days of use results in a great shade and lasts for days. The vanilla scent is also a nice surprise!

I am a big fan of retinal and have used several brands for years with a few being in regular rotation. Allies version, way too think for my liking. It almost remind me of the consistency of that little bit of sunscreen in the tube from the last application. It did not absorb into the skin with ease, and unlike others, this is not a luxurious feel when applying. If scent is important to you also, there are better options as this also has a "cardboard box" scent to it. I noticed mild results but there are better options out there when it comes to retinaldehydes. Allies products seem a hit or miss with me and this one, definitely a miss.

I have post laser skin (6months out) and was having issues finding products that didn’t over moisturize or irritate. Allies of skin is just the right retinol strength and formulation. Skin looks great and isn’t irritated at all. Looking forward to upgrading to a stronger version once I can tolerate it.

This mask has the soft tingle of a traditional mud mask without the weight, and is much easier to wash off. It left my skin feeling clean, soft, and nourished. It's definitely a product that I will want to add to my regular regime. The quality of the ingredients is excellent, it feels like a salon facial.
