I have mature, highly reactive and extremely dry skin. Due to health issues, my skin has become even worse and my barrier is destroyed. This cream does not cause any reaction, is not sticky and absorbed well. However, just not very moisturizing. This will be great for someone whose skin isn’t severely dry.

I was very much looking forward to trying this cleanser for my mature highly reactive dry skin. As soon as I used, my face began burning, turned red and broke out in a rash. This may be great if you have normal skin or slightly sensitive. If your skin is highly reactive, this might not be the best fit.

This Avene Tolerance Control Soothing Skin Recovery Balm is my go-to facial moisturizer. Formulated for sensitive skin with its limited and non-irritating ingredients, I use this exclusively on those nights when I use my Tretinoin cream. I like the richness of the cream and was specifically looking for a moisturizer which would have my favorites like shea butter and squalane. My dermatologist recommend it and there is no turning back. It is a 5-star product and I have been using for years.
