At first I thought the barenminerals Hydrating Gel that they recommend using this brush with was great but I quickly noticed in different lighting that it has a very yellow tint that makes me look very unnatural. I tried both "natural" and "ginger" and both look too much like dry foundation - the yellowing factor really amplifies that. Anyway, it's just a loss as I ended up throwing both shades out and only used each of them a few times.

This is a proper brush for Bare Minerals loose mineral based foundation. Flat stiff at the lower end and softer bristles mid to tip design works. The softer part applies the powder evenly and the stiff part becomes a buffer. Once again I will share that I love this foundation. I wore it 15 years ago and changed and I guess because I thought I outgrew it...I am back. It took two tries to find the shade I could not remember. I found it! I have oily skin and with this foundation I do not need a moisturizer, primer, mist spray or oil setting powder I just need the foundation and brush. Cheers

I actually purchased this to use with my powder foundations, not liquids. I absolutely love it. It works perfectly around the crevices of the nose where I happen to need a little heavier coverage due to ongoing eczema. The brush is super soft and feel divine. I love using it.
