I have used these for years and I love them. I have tried others and they are never as good. I have found that other pads can be rough on my skin, sometimes scratchy even. The Arcona pads really are soft on my skin and really do clean and tone. They’re able to get the SPF off as well as makeup. I still wash my face afterwards, but these pads get the grime off and are not drying to my sensitive and mature skin.

Love these pads for their efficacy. They make my skin feel so smooth the next day. It’s clear they remove impurities, and for the efficacy aloneI will keep purchasing them. However, I took a star away for the smell. If you really understand clean non toxic skincare,“natural fragrance“ can still be synthetic and filled with processed unnatural chemicals. Although many love the smell of these pads, to me it smells like there is something unnatural in it. Natural fragrances can also be extremely allergenic for sensitive individuals. I understand why some report irritation. This did not happen for me, as I said I really like the effects, I just wish that they would keep their products actually clean and remove “natural fragrances”, or ensure it’s labeled accurately stating “100% natural fragrance”. This is just another way companies can mislead us to think products are clean and organic when they are actually not. The term natural fragrance is highly unregulated so companies can get away with using this term even if it’s not 100 percent accurate. I’m not saying Arcona does that, but the smell is very questionable.

When I first opened the jar I was taken back by the strong scent which to me smelled like bubble gum. It also left my skin feeling itchy and sticky. After using it for a couple of weeks the scent mellowed but the way it made my skin feel did not. I had to rinse it off shortly after every use. Very disappointing as I really thought these were the toner pads I was looking for due to the good reviews. I am giving it 3 stars because I’m sure it’s a good product - just not for me. I will not be purchasing this again.
