And as a physical exfoliant, there's no harsh reaction to chemicals which can occur in those with sensitive skin. I use this on my dry skin and follow with my normal cleanser. I ordered a sample of this product and liked it so much I quickly ordered the full size. I normally do not find most manual exfoliants to be very effective because the grains are often too rough or large to really do anything except damage the skin. I do use chemical exfoliants once or twice a month but I find that I need a little exfoliation somewhere between peels because my skin will get flaky in between treatments. You need only a small amount of this physical exfoliant, which has very fine pumice grains. I apply a thin layer to a wet face and gently scrub. My skin feels smooth and refreshed after rinsing, and it leaves me with a perfectly smooth, non-flaky canvas for additional skin care products or makeup. Really love this product.
