Although this is a primer, I wear it as a sunscreen and foundation as well. It has SPF 30 and has a slightly thick consistency which covers all imperfections. I know it is working to protect my skin, but it helps my skin to stay moisturized It is not at all drying. After applying an even layer to my face and neck I let it set for a few moments. Much to my chagrin, this is the replacement for the discontinued detmalogica hydrablur primer, which I loved! Well I don't mind the tint and the idea of the spf, which is great, there is a strong scent to it I don't like, which the hydra blur did not have. In addition, the hydra blur blended into my skin nicely, this has a caked on look appearance. I like to be able to slather primer on my face, and this makes it look like I'm wearing a lot of makeup and ends up settling into the lines on my face. This is one I will not be purchasing again
