Sun damage repair

I had a facial done and the esthetician put this on my nose, said it would help with the redness and sun damage I have. I liked it after that one use, so I went ahead and bought it. My nose is no longer red or bumpy after about a month of nightly use. Some mornings if I was staying at home and didn't wear makeup. I also stopped putting my acids on my nose as that was her recommendation. I take good care of my skin so don't expect the same results if you don't.

Love the barrier but price is too high

I had been wanting to try it for a long time but was hesitant due to it's small size compared to its cost. I decided to buy it once to see how long it would last. I was blown away by its results. It's really silky, gets absorbed immediately and helped protect and heal my skin from everything that was damaging. I was able to test it against redness due to hours in front of a computer, harsh cold winds, being exposed to low quality air, hormonal monthly changes and not sleeping enough. It was extremely efficient and I wanted (and still want...) to make it a staple on my daily skincare routine. But that's not possible due to the price. If you follow the instructions you'll be using it twice a day and the small tube would be gone very fast. The Barrier Repair is not a liquid or serum, it's thicker, making it go away faster than said type of products. As much as I adore it I have to rated it only with three stars because there's no use of an extraordinary creation if the costs makes its unreachable by the general public.

Aging skin repair

Great Calming Product

I have been using this product for years and highly recommend it. I am 62 and have been dealing with chronic dry eyes for 20 years. Each morning, I use a "warm compress" on my eyelids to get the oils flowing in my Meibomian glands located in the lid margins. I have thin skin under my eyes and as one can imagine, this process can irritate the area around the eye. Once I'm done with the warm compresses and cleaning the eyelids, I use this product around my eyes to help calm the eye area. I can't imagine going through this process with out Dermalogica Barrier Repair!

A Must for Windy Weather

I live in Chicago and have yet to find anything like Dermalogica Barrier Repair for winter skin protection. It is a super light, smooth feeling gel. I put a pea-sized amount on my finger tips and glide over face and neck before heading out any time it is very windy and/or under 20 degrees! Love, love, love the feel and the skin protection. Does not interfere with makeup either. Definitely on the pricey side, but have been using for more than 10 years now and surprised there is nothing else out there like it.

A Must for Dry, Chapped Skin

Dermalogica Barrier Repair is my go to when my skin is chapped and dry and needing hydration. I have used it for years and although I may try other brands, I always return to good ‘ol faithful barrier repair! My daughter also used it when she was taking Accutane for her acne. When her skin would be super dry from the medicine the Barrier Repair gave her much needed relief. :)

Great for reparing your barrier

Dermalogica Barrier Repair is a product I stumbled upon when I was in school for my aesthetics license. During the week we were doing waxing, my skin actually tore and was pretty raw after strip removal. My instructor gave me this product and it helped my skin heal. I think it is great for spot treating but also as a more occlusive product for those with dry and sensitive skin. Also can be used as a primer..a little goes a long way.
