This is a more “harsh” cleanser option, but I find it to be very effective. I feel that it helps to improve my skin texture, and leaves it feeling very soft. I am currently only using it at night, and I use a more gentle cleanser in the morning. Although it says to use it on a dry face, I like to use a little water and work it in with my foreo cleaning tool to let the solution sit on my face for a bit longer. If you do have any openings on your skin, it definitely stings a bit!

This cleanser is very strong and effective but a bit too harsh. I have fair skin that is generally tolerant to chemical exfoliants and I have used glycolic acid in the past with great results and no negative side effects, but I cannot use this more than once every few days and cannot leave it on my skin very long without ending up looking like I have a red, flaky sunburn. A milder glycolic lotion or serum would probably yield better results with fewer side effects. So many better options available; I would not buy this again.

I use this cleanser in the evening once I have removed my makeup. I think it helps to turn the cells. I have adult acne sometimes and a bit of Rosacea so I use a different cleanser in the mornings. A little goes a long ways. I have used it for a few years. I am in my 60's and still working. Once I am retired, I may have to find something else because it is expensive, in my opinion.
