Silky smooth, nice light coverage

I have very sensitive skin - acne prone, dry, rosacea - and it does not irritate my skin at all. This sunscreen feels much more like a skin tint or tinted serum than a sunscreen. It applies evenly and does not cling to dry patches on my skin. I find that it covers some of my redness, and evens out my skin tone just a bit. The color works on my pale skin, but may be too dark in the winter. My favorite tinted mineral sunscreen.

Lovely, but dry

The tint and the finish of this sunscreen is lovely. It is the first tinted sunscreen I've tried that blended into my skin well so that I couldn't see the pigments sitting on top of my skin. However, I am postmenopausal and found that it dried up on my skin over the course of the day while worn without foundation over it but with a daytime moisturizer underneath. I liked it so much that I tried applying a light coat of my night time moisturizer and then immediately applying the sunscreen. This method has worked. Yet, the finish is not as matte and I am okay with that. Also, I have never tried a sunscreen that dried down until this one; they were always varying degrees of tacky. The bottom line for me is that I think I can adjust the finish and performance of this nice sunscreen with the level of moisturizer applied underneath. Being that I live in a very hot and humid summer climate, while experiencing very dry skin in the winter time, this is an appealing characteristic in a sunscreen.

The worst sunscreen

I am not sure what the rave is all about this one but this is the worst sunscreen ever and tried them all. I got sucked into the blogger review of this and regret it. Can’t put it on my face because it smells like petroleum/gasoline. Drying on my face as well. I will have to use it on my neck or something but I’ll definitely feel bad if my boyfriend will want to kiss my neck on those days lol. Terrible product, zero hype

I use this sunscreen everyday. I use my primer first and then mix the sunscreen with my liquid makeup. I love this sunscreen! The tinted color is perfect for me! I have acne prone skin and this product doesn’t ever break my face out. On days I stay home or work in my yard, I use my La-Roch Posay tinted sunscreen alone without mixing it. I have been using this for years and intend to continue using it daily.
