La Roche-Posay Cicaplast Balm B5 Soothing Multi-Purpose Balm soothes dry skin.

Cicaplast Balm B5 is a soothing, therapeutic cream formulated with Tribioma™, a propietary prebiotic complex. This multi-purpose soothing cream hydrates and relieves cracked, chapped, chafed, rough, sensitive skin and dry skin irritations on the face and body. This cream helps protect skin from the drying effects of wind and cold weather with an ultra-comforting, rich texture and a non-greasy finish.

Shea butter and glycerin help to nourish skin and visibly reduce the sign of irritation caused by dryness

I saw a review of Cicaplast and decided to give my very dry hands a treat. Not only were my hands dry, but my fingernails were thin, and splitting. It is a magic cream. I put it on in the morning and bedtime. My hands are healed, and my nails and cuticles are better every day. I also use it on my face to heal dry spots ( I use retin A) Love it!!

Think thick, white, creamy lotion, that gives a bit of a sheen. It's SO moisturizing and wonderful following my tretinoin. It's not greasy, but may feel that way at first, but absorbs quickly. I don't know what this is supposed to do. It's not particularly effective compared to other products when my skin barrier is damaged. I gave it 3 stars for being a decent moisturizer, but I wouldn't choose this if I needed extra help with skin irritation or a damaged barrier.

Needed help
