One of the few products I use

My doctor recommended this because I had severe cystic acne after the birth of my daughter. Because I was nursing, there weren’t many prescriptions the doctor could prescribe. I stuck with this product over the years. My daughter is now 17 and she uses it too. It keeps my skin clear, exfoliated and I feel like it has prevented fine lines (along with my grandmas recommendation to avoid the sun). I apply this on my forehead and nose after cleansing with La Roche Posay Effaclar. This area of my face is much more oily than the rest, so I treat my face with 2 separate regimens. I believe this is reducing the bumps I have on my forehead as well!

Don’t see a big difference

I have been using this product as part of my daily routine for a few weeks. I don’t notice a major difference when I don’t use it (when I travel), but in combination with the other NeoStrata products, I use i think it helps to reduce breakouts. It can be drying to use every day. I wish a travel-friendly size were available.

I like this!

I was using the aha 15 lotion, and I loved it. I decided to get this because I moved and recently found that I needed something to penetrate deep to remove excess well water as well as dirt, oil and lipids on the skin, especially in the summer months. My skin is clear, but it is a bit red. Now, I have been using it twice a day to clarify, along with salicylic acid and Differin. I may need to decrease the application. I also noticed there is a 15 gel, so I think I would like to try that next.

Drying

I have very oily skin. I have to blot several times a day, and my face is an oil slick by noon if I don't. I wanted something that I could use on days I don't wear makeup, because this definitely removes makeup. I use it to refresh during the middle of the day. I haven't seen any changes to the oil production, but it is a decent astringent. I probably wouldn't purchase it again though.

How about a million stars??

I'm convinced that this and the Neostrata Gel Plus AHA 15 are my fountains of youth. I alternate between these two products. My skin is clear, even-toned, with nary a wrinkle or blemish in sight. If I do get a pimple, it's extremely mild and heals particularly quickly when I apply twice a day as opposed to my standard once in the evening. It's a bit drying during the winter, so I do use a thick cream over it during the colder months. I'm 40 years old, and people are shocked by my age, and I even got carded several weeks ago. Plus a bottle seems to last forever. I apply with my hands to ensure every drop is put to use.
