This product really exfoliates, especially after a day in the garden when I feel I have accumulated Even though it's more abrasive than the facial cleanser, it's not too harsh. Follow it with a hearty moisturizer. I use PCA Collagen Hydrator and another product from a different company for day and nightly use.

I like this for a physical exfoliant

This is a very gentle physical exfoliant. I use chemical exfoliants and retinoids regularly, and sometimes have flaky skin that I want to buff off. I like using this occasionally because I don't feel like I'm destroying my skin barrier. If you enjoy the apricot scrub type of exfoliation, you will probably not like how gentle this is on the skin. It has also lasted a long time for me.

Good for people that like grit but don’t want to ruin their skin!

I have always been an a fan of mechanical exfoliation. However, I recently DESTROYED my skin barrier after buying products from a consultation from an esthetician working for the company of a very well known medical grade skincare company (not sold on LovelySkin). I went to a new esthetician at a very reputable plastic surgeon’s office and she turned me on to this once my barrier was repaired. It is gentle enough to use with retin-a but also feels like it is actually doing something. I can’t explain it. It is like the perfect in between very abrasive scrubs and those scrubs that feel like nothing. Also, there is NO overpowering fragrance, doesn’t break me out and does not sting. Please try it!

Nice scrub, not daily use for me

I like this scrub, but it is too harsh for daily use for me. I use a number of serum exfoliants from my aesthetician, that could be why. Gentle daily moisturizer! I am in my 40s and it’s recommended that we gently exfoliate our skin to help reduce hormonal breakouts and dullness. I have tried other exfoliants in the past and they seem very harsh with large chunks of sharp exfoliating material that can’t be good for your skin. This one has very light/gentle exfoliating particles that are not sharp or harsh. The fact that it is called a daily exfoliants helps me feel more comfortable that it is not stripping my skin. I have tried tons of these types of products and this is by far the best one out there!
