Follow it with a hearty moisturizer. I use PCA Collagen Hydrator and another product from a different company for day and nightly use.

This is a very gentle physical exfoliant. I use chemical exfoliants and retinoids regularly, and sometimes have flaky skin that I want to buff off. I like using this occasionally because I don't feel like I'm destroying my skin barrier. If you enjoy the apricot scrub type of exfoliation, you will probably not like how gentle this is on the skin. It has also lasted a long time for me.

I have always been an a fan of mechanical exfoliation. However, I recently DESTROYED my skin barrier after buying products from a consultation from an esthetician working for the company of a very well known medical grade skincare company (not sold on LovelySkin). Gentle daily moisturizer! I am in my 40s and it’s recommended that we gently exfoliate our skin to help reduce hormonal breakouts and dullness.
