My optimum fav

I’ve been getting this retinol since 2017 ( even before they renamed it and added salicylic acid to it) and hands down it’s my absolute favorite. I’ve used many other retinols you name it , high-priced and low-priced, I still come back to this one. I go through 3 tubes a year as I use it daily. My only wish is for them to reduce the price, but here I am repurchasing lol.

My skin is sensitive to retinol products. I have tried 2 % and 1 % retinol products hoping to add this into my skin routine. However my skin would react with irritation and break outs. I started sparingly with twice a week to three times a week. The skin breakout was less than the higher potent products. I am hoping that this will pass as everyone says. I am going to stick with it as I know how helpful retinol can be. The lotion is a nice consistency and goes out smoothly.

Of all of the products I have tried & kept in my daily skin care routine, this is my Holy Grail product. I have seen the biggest difference in the clarity of my skin since introducing it about a year ago as far as decreasing both new breakouts, helping to speed up the healing process of those that do occur & lightening the pigmentation left from past ones (olive skin, very prone to this). I have really problematic, combination skin - this stuff is the real deal and has my skin looking better than it has in years. It's important to apply it only at nighttime and to pay attention to your skin's reaction.
