Mixed feelings about this lash masque

I took a chance on this because it is a staff favourite and the price is very good compared to the typical lash growth product. It is in a unique category, in that, it is almost like a lash tint- which I like- it does give some volume and length (albeit not a lot). It makes my eyes look nice without being laden down with mascara. The big issue I have is that it absolutely gives me raccoon eyes by midday. My lashes do seem to be a bit more dense and have a bit of curl, so the growth enhancing is there. I have worn it almost consistently for a few weeks. I do wear eye cream so possibly someone with drier skin would not have the raccoon problem?

Lash & Brow tint

This product does apply a gradual tint that increases in depth as it is applied. The dark or even a mid-range tint is not suitable for a light complexion and strawberry blonde hair. When using the lash curler prior to applying the lash tint, the lash curl did not maintain after applying the lash tint. Recommend for brown and darker hair color customers.

A bit more flaky than expected

A bit more flaky than expected for something that is pitched as a "masque" but it is certainly thinner and less drying than traditional mascara. Haven't been using long enough to say if it is increasing the natural thickness of my lashes or brows, but I like that I can use it on both and that it adds just a tint of color without adding clumpy clunky volume that inevitably ends up in my under eye bags as literally every other mascara does. If you want a subtle lash/brow tint this could be that. If you want something that feels super moisturizing this is probably not it.

Gives good tint and lends good color to pale, thin lashes

I'm allergic to everything you might put on your eyes, but I really miss mascara. This does give color to my fine, pale lashes, so I love it. I also use it on my eyebrows, and most days it's enough. I look forward to thicker lakes after 6 weeks of use.

Finally!

I have tried many products to help enhance my brows. They always looked painted on or penciled in and that is not the look I’m going for. This is so easy to apply to brows and keeps them looking natural. It’s also something you can apply to lashes and it seems to make it to where I use less mascara. Just one swipe with my mascara wand and I’m good to go. Haven’t been using it long enough to notice long term effects, if any but I totally appreciate it for the instant gratification.

A holy grail multi use product

I'm on my second tube of this product, my first one lasted almost a year with me using it between 3-7 days a week. It looks very natural on my dark brows and lashes. It clings really well to my brow hairs without leaving a ton of product on my actual brow skin, which I like. Is very buildable and doesn't leave my eyebrows all crunchy. I use this sometimes by itself and sometimes with a pencil underneath for more definition. It looks very natural as a mascara, but mostly adds color, doesn't add much volume or length. Good buy if you have dark brows!

Best alternative to mascara

I have never been a fan of any mascara, simply because it has always flaked or looked clumpy at some point during the day and I just don't like how mascara looks on me. This is my favorite alternative to mascara because it coats the lashes beautifully and is SOO natural looking without a single clump or flake throughout the day and doesn't dry out my eyelashes and it makes them glossy, flexible, and soft. It is buildable to a point, but if you're looking for something that gives you mascara results, this might not be the best choice because this gives you very natural definition. Still great for those no-makeup makeup looks. LOVE this.

My eyes are too sensitive to use

My eyes are extremely sensitive, so this may not apply to you. But using this made my eyes water. Even if I could use it, it didn't lay down noticeable color on my eyelashes, which is why I went ahead and rated it a 3. I can use it on my brows, and it does give noticeable color there, but I already have fairly thick, dark brows, so that's not a use I'm particularly interested in.

I love this lash builder! I'm on my third tube. Though it is not a mascara, it lengthens and darkens my lashes and creates a more defined look without smudging or flaking on my face as almost every other mascara does to me.
