Rich cream
This cream is nice and rich. It unfortunately caused my face to breakout, which is atypical for me with this line of skin care. That said, I have been using it as a hand cream -- albeit a pricey hand cream. It has worked wonders on my winter hands. It would be unfair to give it a poor review based off my silly sensitivity, which likely would not affect someone else. I will not buy again, but think it would be great for those without sensitivity.

Very hydrating cream
I love this product because it is great for very dry sensitive skin like mine. On clean skin I use the Avene Thermal Water, and while it is wet I put the Extreme Emulsion on first and then I use the Hydrance cream on top of that. This combination provides me about 9 hours of great hydration. Great product!

The BEST of the bunch
I have decided that this particular Avene cream is by far the best moisturizer I have tried. Better than other Avene products for my particular skin anyway. My skin reddens easily due to rosacea but this has NO irritating qualities like some moisturizers. I also use a retinoid and this seems an absolutely necessary accompaniment to it. It is rich and a little goes a long way. I have used it for at least 2-3 years and hope it never is dropped from their line of products!!

I'm in love with this moisturizer which was recommended to be my dermatologist. As it is labeled "rich," I was a bit hesitant to try it because my skin is so sensitive and my pores get clogged so easily. But I have been using it for over a month now, and no issues. It is not greasy, absorbs very quickly, and wear very well under makeup. Also, I had no issues interacting with any other products (serums, hydrators, etc.). This also comes in a UV version which I have not yet tried.
