I found this eye cream to be soothing, and it didn't cause my fussy skin any irritation or breakouts, but I'm not seeing any real changes yet. Will keep looking for my Holy Grail ;-)

I adore Avene products and tried this one. The consistency is good, but I have not noticed any additional differences from using it. It lacks the higher level of moisturizing that the eye area requires. I do love how this product dries quickly after application. But for a retinol product, it only comes in at 3 stars.

Flaking skin with no real results
I used a more expensive retinol eye cream for years but wanted to try this to save money. This cream left my under eyes visibly flaky. I stuck it out, hoping it would improve my fine lines and milia. After months of use, my eyes look worse than ever. The natural aging process continues no matter what product, of course, but I saw no slowing or improvement in the skin at all.

I have heard great things about this product from a number of dermatologists. In my experience, it is not less irritating than other retinol products from the drugstore but it is more expensive. I'm sure it takes months to see any results so I can't speak to that yet.
