Avene RetrinAL Advance Correcting Cream
I've just started using this correcting cream by Avene, so I haven't gone through the whole bottle yet. I should have a better opinion by that time. I started by using the correcting cream during the day with sunscreen, in addition to using Avene RetrinAL Creme 0.1 at night (which I love). The first week, I thought my skin looked pretty good, but it started to feel dryer. I decided to cut back to using this 3X a week during the day. I assumed the correcting serum would be gentler than the RetrinAl 0.1.

Wow. I'm really impressed!
I've been using Avene products consistently for the last 2 years. Especially Avene retrinAL at night. This new RetrinAL Advanced Correcting Serum is amazing. I love that I can use it in the morning along with sunscreen. My skin feels like it is dewy, hydrated and healing (lots of stress lately that has made my skin somewhat reactive). After one use, I noticed a difference. I know it sounds quick to judge but it's true. Wouldn't say that unless it's true because the product is not exactly cheap but I did notice a difference!

Anti-aging & Antioxidant
I really enjoy using this product. I have used another brand's similar product that dried my skin out. This does not. I like using the antioxidant under my sunscreen to provide extra protection from the rays. I like the fact that it is a serum especially for the summer because it is light. It feels a little bit tacky, but I put just a tiny bit of the Tolerance Emulsion over it as a moisturizer and then my sunscreen goes on great. I like the pre-measured dosage and the packaging. I am very happy with the product. I do wish it was a bit less expensive. That is why I gave it only 4 stars, just because of the price.

Avene RetrinAL Serum
I have been using this product every day for three weeks and like the fact that it doesn't cause ANY irritation to my extremely sensitive skin. It is fragrance-free and contains bakuchiol, a plant-derived alternative to retinol. For sensitive skin that doesn't take kindly to other anti-aging products, this is a way for me to add an anti-aging product into my daily skin care routine. Baby steps . . . . .
