Found this cream to be very soothing on days when my skin has become reactive to dryness and the winter weather. I normally use it at night to calm the redness and looks much better in the morning.

Incredibly soothing
This is simply the best for allergic prone skin. Fragrance free with minimal ingredients. This one contains squalene as opposed to the balm which I believe has shea butter. Have used this multiple times for itchy dry or irritated skin and it is the best in my opinion. Use with the Avene thermal water for additional calming of the skin

Best Lotion for Sensitive Skin
This is wonderful for sensitive, acne-prone skin. I use Retin-A over this lotion and am able to tolerate the Retin-A every day because the Avene Tolerance is so soothing. It moisturizes effectively without making the skin greasy or shiny. I love that the packaging negates the need for preservatives, which can be irritating. Definitely check it out!

Always Does The Job!
I recently started using a Retinol cream around my eyes and a retinol serum around my mouth. While they were low in concentration, after a couple of weeks, I saw flaking and felt dryness. I have used this cream before, and so I bought it again and it helped immediately. Also with the cooler, drier weather of Fall, I need a heavier moisturizer all over. This cream met my expectations again!!!

This is my GO TO product when my skin is sensitive or reactive, it soothes and calms immediately. I started using it for my rosacea, then had morpheus8 & a cool peel treatment (same time). This was the only product I could use for relief, very healing. I will never be without! Love!

Purchased this to relieve a rosacea flare-up caused by trying a new micro-day tinted sunscreen. Although it took over 2 weeks to completely calm my red, irritated cheeks down, this soothing cream was central to healing. Not greasy, but it goes on a little 'wet' looking. Soaks in after a couple of minutes. I can put sunscreen/makeup over it without any issues. No discernable fragrance. I already have a second tube on-hand, just so I don't run out. Will repurchase.

So soothing
Perfect Avene cream when you have some irritation especially from retinal. I use and have loved the Avene products for at least 10 years. My skin is very fair and sensitive and was unable to tolerate the regular tretinoin so my derm recommended the Avene .1%RETINAL cream and it works great but I still have to be careful and not use it too often (2 times a week) and that is where this recovery cream comes in handy. It is very soothing. If I need something stronger I use the Avene Cicalfate cream and that does the trick for sure.

Avene is one of the only brands that doesn't irritate my skin. I bought this one hoping it wouldn't bother my workout acne, and it's good for that. But, my skin feels dry after using it, and it doesn't soothe my skin's redness. I'll keep using it for workouts, but not for work.

Soothing skin recovery cream Avenue
Once again this is a fantastic product after having a procedure. I tried using other facial creams after my micro needling plus chemical peel. They did not work. My face was so dry. This time I used this cream recommended by you and I did not have the problems I had the first time after the procedure. If you use the thermal cooling spray and this recovery cream your face will feel great as it heals.
