Removes mascara
I have been looking for a product that will remove my makeup, but also not irritate my skin. This is my first step with cleansing my face. I have not experienced any irritation or breakouts. I am highly sensitive to almost everything and had trouble finding a product active enough to remove my sunscreen, but gentle enough for my delicate face and neck skin. Gentle and effective
This is my second time purchasing the Avene XeraCalm AD Lipid-Replenishing Cleansing Oil and I purchased the largest bottle this time around. I've tried it on my face and it does not irritate. I use it regularly as a hand soap and on my forearms to wash off sunscreen in the evening. As a regular hand washer this has been the most soothing cleanser that I have ever tried. I find myself not having to apply hand cream as frequently as when I have used any other hand soap. I will continue to buy as long as it is available. If you are looking for a gentle cleanser this is the one.
