I think the brush is a little rough and prefer to use my makeup brush to apply. This causes me to open up the cap at the end and pour some powder onto my palm, which is a little messy. I do like that it's convenient to carry and throw in my purse.

Easy to carry and convenient to use but I can't tell if the powder is being released through the brush. I turn applicator upside down (and rub on the back of the hand as directions suggest), and I see powder released on my hand. But then I turn it right side up and try to apply to face I can't tell if anything is coming out. Frustrating because I want to be certain I'm getting enough coverage and I never know.

better in theory than in practice
I like the idea of a sunscreen powder I can apply over makeup. In practice, it doesn't give any actual foundation coverage, so I can't tell how much - if any - I'm applying. I don't feel confident that I'm getting enough on to give good sun protection. I will use the rest of this tube to touch up throughout the day over my SPF moisturizer, but I wouldn't rely on it as my only SPF. I won't buy again.

Problem with powder and brush
I read the instructions on how to get the brush started but still had trouble getting much of the powder to come out through the brush. It seemed that the powder was clumping together in the container and I thought maybe it was because the brush had been subjected to cold weather during shipment.

How much is enough?
I can tell that powder has been applied, because my skin looks lighter, but I cannot tell how much powder has been applied and if it is enough to provide protection against burning. It is hard to put the lid back on the brush after use. The tube needs a sleeve which will slide up over the brush to hold it in place before the lid is put on. This product has potential, but it is new and has both packaging and application issues to work out before I can rate it any higher.

Good for midday sunscreen touchups
I like to layer my facial sunscreens and had hoped that this product would replace finishing powder in my morning skin care/makeup routine. It didn't quite work out as expected this sunscreen powder provides neither significant coverage nor mattifying properties. However, I do like applying it over my makeup in the middle of the workday, since it isn't practical for me to reapply sunscreen in lotion or cream formulation. The retractable brush is tidy. So this product has found a home in my work bag, if not in my morning makeup lineup.

Product vs applicator
Love the product BUT, the applicator (brush) is only great when new. After some use the brush gets quite clogged with facial moisturizer, skin oil etc. I have used the spray cleaner which is totally ineffective. Within a few months the brush is just gross feeling, not flexible and free-flowing as when new. I'd love to be able to replace the brush head, not just refill the product in the clogged applicator. The product lasts a very long time. Same for the blush powder in the same container/ applicator.

Pretty good, but a few reservations
I recommend this product for everyday, but not as a vacation sunscreen. I took it with me to Cancun this year and found that I had to keep reapplying because it didn't hold up on sweaty skin or in the water. After reapplying so many times it ruined my brush and I can't clean it until I'm out of the product and ready to order a refill. Great for everyday use at home though!

This doesn't seem to cover at all. It is very lightweight and silky, but I'm used to a heavier coverage. I love that it has sunscreen, so I will continue to use. I combine with the bronzing primer. and it helps, but I still think I need a heavier coverage.
