Foundation?
I ordered this item after receiving samples from LovelySkin. I think the product I received is heavier in coverage than the samples that I fell in love with. It truly is a foundation, as opposed to a tinted sunscreen. The coverage is good, but way to heavy for me. I'm not a wearer of foundation in the first place.

I've been using this product for several years as originally liked the idea of makeup combined with sunscreen and often need more coverage than a tinted sunscreen. Recently retired, I have been wearing makeup less at home and was surprised that after returning from a 2-week vacation where I wore this every day, my pores have been clogged and I'm trying to recover from very broken out skin. Before purchasing again, I will take a look at noncomedogenic alternatives.

I love the finish and lack of tacky/sticky texture- it's fantastic if you want something that doesn't look like you're wearing anything. I'm 53 and am looking for something light and natural as a heavier foundation is something I'm veering away from. Colorescience Tint Du Soleil SPF 30 Whipped Foundation is a good product. My skin is prone to breakouts with certain ingredients. No issues as far as irritation. Blends into my skin, with little to no effort. It doesn't stay (on me) on its own, very long. I'll set it with a light dusting of setting powder. I really like this and will be ordering again :) Thank You

I like that this is a very lightweight foundation. The only reason for 4 stars is that it doesn't last as long as I had hoped. The finish is on the matte side which I generally don't like but I do with this foundation. The color is a bit light so I hope that they come out with some more shades in the medium range.

I don't think I will reorder. It's kind off chalky. when I used the sample it was more creamy and reminded me of a bb cream. Always on the lookout for a foundation that does not emphasize my pores, bead up in the heat and offer sun protection all in one. For me, this goes on smooth, doesn’t feel heavy and doesn’t seem to sweat off in the Florida heat. I’m out in the sun every day and really appreciate a one step process to protect my skin and blur the imperfections on my 67 year old skin. I do not find that this emphasizes any wrinkles or pores. Some said it was heavy or cakey, but I have not found it so. Perhaps it depends on how much you apply. I apply heavily enough to provide sunscreen, but do not heavily layer. I follow with a light dusting of the powder spf. If you are looking for a makeup to hide all your flaws this is not it unless perhaps if you layer it. If you want a makeup/sunscreen for a natural look only better you will probably like this one. I do not find that it rubs off, which is also a plus for me.
