Sunburn in the area of the blush, but it's nice as a blush
I really wish this provided sun protection. I actually use Colorscience tinted sunscreen all over my face (like a foundation) then use the Colorscience Sunforgettable Balm as a blush. What I found is that I get sunburned just where the blush is. It's happened now a couple of times. My guess is that it rubs off the sunscreen beneath it (when you rub to blend the blush) and that the blush color after blending is too thin to actually protect.

Nice but..
These blushes are great however I do think they are a bit on the dryer side and sometimes this makes blending them in a little more challenging. But overall, nice to use makeup with spf in it for that extra little bit of protection.

Outstanding color balms & I'm picky
I have these in 3 colors. My skin is fair-light with neutral undertone. I haven't found these color balms to be difficult to work with in the least as other reviewer's stated, and I have dry, mature skin & live in low humidity high desert. I use these balms after my Flex sunscreen. Apply with fingers or a brush in a stippling fashion. The bronze, pink sky, golden hour are beautiful, universal shades. Bronze has a bit of shimmer but not glitter & looks beautiful on eyes, too. I think these shades could work well on all skin tones. The more SPF you wear daily now = the less wrinkles in 10-15 years. That's motivation enough for me!

Great in theory
I wanted to love this product. I have tried two colors now over time, and I was not able to make either of them work for me. This time, seeing some new options, I tried Violet Haze, which looks like it should be perfect for me -- a cool plum color. It does look beautiful in the tube. But when applied to my cool-toned skin and lips, it is warm and orange-toned and looks quite off. It really looks bad on me, lol. Oh well.

I'm in love with the Colorescience color balm sticks! It is easiest to apply with a brush and blends well. I love knowing my cheeks and lips have added protection, especially since melasma most often occurs around the cheek area!

Dry + Awkward Application
This does not work as either a lip balm or cheek color. The formula is too drying for lips. And the large, oblong tube is too awkwardly shaped for lip application or blush application. Definitely not worth $39. Back to my other lip balm....

I can only compare this to another SPF lip balm from another brand, and I’d say I prefer this brand over the other.. I am realizing it’s not easy formulating a lip balm w SPF in an elegant way. They tend to be drying so I layer it w a lightweight lip balm underneath. I love the color as it’s pretty pigmented. Definitely not a “balm” formula, more like a lipstick

Want to love it but……
The tube does not work. I can roll the product up to apply it, but it won’t roll back down unless I use my finger and press it back into the tube. I contacted customer service. They said they never had this issue, and asked for a video. I sent it, and they agreed to send a new one after returning the old tube. The new tube is the same way! Ugh. I really like the color, but can’t see paying for it again (especially if it isn’t on sale) if I have to push it back into the tube every time.

Love These Balms!
I love to use these color balms on my face! I use them all summer and in the winter when I walk every morning. The bronze is my favorite color, for contouring. It's so easy to control the application and the balm blends easily with a brush. I have used all the blush colors, too, and am on my second round. I have light/fair skin and they all work well for me. I can't say how they work as balm on the lips. I felt they were drying. I prefer to use long lasting lippies. However, I do LOVE the Colorscience SPF35 Lip Shine glosses and highly recommend them. Although they are not as opaque as I'd like, I often apply a lip liner underneath for more color. Love the protection!

This takes some getting used to if you usually wear powder blush and the consistency is more firm than other cream or stick blushes I’ve used, so application is a little tricky. I find using a fingertip and starting light works best. it’s nice to have makeup with spf but I wish it was more spreadable.
