Really does what it claims
I use this after putting on the Cover Creme. It is nice for setting powder. It does make the foundation long wearing; however, this is not smudge-proof. You still need to be careful when you are wearing anything white or if you are scared if it might color transfer because the color might transfer. I like this though because this does not make my skin look oily like most of the setting powder does. Not matte too. Just a nice sheen to it.

Finishing powder to awesome makeup
This is a must have to go with the Dermablend makeup. When you lightly powder over your makeup letting it "set" for 2 minutes and lightly buffing it in with a brush or puff, it does set your makeup all day and into the night. It's a no-color that disappears after blending.

Love the product but light shade is still dark!
I love dermablend products and still rate this at 4 stars, however, even the light shade is dark. I have no choice but translucent. Wish there were more shades available in powder.

This is a new approach for me
I'm getting used to how this product applies and am getting better at the post-application excess brush-off. It's not a perfect finish, but I think that may be a matter of adjusting the moisturizer and sunscreen I use underneath. The main reason I tried this is because the only sunscreen my skin will tolerate leaves a very shiny finish. The Dermablend Loose Setting Powder does a good, long-lasting job of deshining me, but I am noticing that my dry skin is more visible. But that's not the powder's fault. I think once I figure out my moisturizing routine, this powder is going to work very well for me.

I was hoping this setting powder would be all, or most of what the description stated. However, I found that my makeup doesn't last as long as they say, and also, it seems to go into fine lines and wrinkles and accentuate them.

Too dry
