I was pretty desperate looking for a concealer that wasn't too heavy but would do the trick brightening my eye and concealing some of those pesky dark circles. And, this does it nicely...easy to blend, no heavy look! No clumping or pasty look. To apply, I usually use my fingers but I also have a beautiful flat makeup brush to feather. I can actually use it to gently blend over any other discoloration spots. Nice product and the color match was good. When BareMinerals got rid of their stick concealer, it was hard to find back up for it because it seems like a lot of brands are phasing them out (WHY?!). This one was what I wanted! It did the job. I have to admit, I found something that's even better and I'm using that now (NARS pot concealer). But this was also good. The NARS one has to be applied with brush, so if you're into more of a stick concealer format, this is a good one.

Nice texture but didn't work for me
I use concealer mostly for two areas: under eyes and on one dark age spot on my forehead. You don't want to use much as your skin ages, since it makes it look worse sometimes. This took several layers on my forehead spot to cover -- 4 or more - and under my eyes, it didn't do any good and was too dry looking. May be good for younger skin though.

Bought this based on the "quick fix" in the name plus the excellent reviews - was looking for a "quick fix" to keep in my bag or purse as an on-the-go touch up for some areas of hyperpigmentation, small capillaries at the base of my nose, and general redness when my rosacea flares up. This is my least favorite concealer that I've ever bought in the history of time. (I'm 47, so not like this is my first concealer rodeo.) The stick is convenient to keep in my bag and the color match was perfect. Those are the only positives. The only way to use it is as part of your full face makeup routine, applied with a small brush and then covered over with a foundation and powder. Or I suppose you could use it as a full coverage stick foundation. Neither of those uses is what I was looking for, nor what I expected based on the "quick fix" in the name of the product. In keeping with the "quick fix" theme I tried applying it directly from the stick and then tapping with a finger, tried applying with a finger, tried tapping over it with a tissue. Nope. Any of those methods it basically snags on every little tiny bit of dry skin you might have, every pore, every micro-wrinkle, and highlights the things you're trying to cover. It will not blend around the edges without using a brush. Tried it over existing makeup, directly to bare/moisturized skin, over primer, and under and over tinted sunscreen. None of those achieved acceptable results. Take all of this with a grain of salt since it seems like I'm the only person having this issue with this particular product. I just find the "quick fix" in the name to be very deceptive. If it were just advertised as concealer or full coverage foundation, I probably wouldn't be so critical of the product. (I also wouldn't have purchased it since I specifically was looking for a quick fix/touchup product.)

I wasn't planning to use the Demablend Quick-Fix Concealer as a general concealer; I purchased it because it's a stick and not a liquid which I thought would "fill in" and conceal a small scar on my nose. I love this concealer so much that I use it for everything. It's my new go-to concealer that is so much better than any liquid I have used in the past and there have been many.
