Dr. Hauschka Defining Mascara
What has happened to the Dr. Hauschka defining mascara? It used to be a wonderful mascara. Now, I can barely get any on my eye lashes no matter how many coats I apply. I finally used an old tube of Dr. Hauschka mascara, and it applied more mascara on my eye lashes than the new tube. I don't know what they did to the formula, but it has changed somehow. Why do companies take a perfectly good product and make it worse? As a wise, old saying goes, "If it ain't broke, don't fix it." Why did they attempt to fix something that wasn't broken? I'm very disappointed. I would have given it 5 stars if they had kept the mascara the way it was. I hope they go back to the original formula.

No Staying Power
I was really happy to find this product. I don't like black mascara, and it's really hard to find a product in brown. The applicator is great, not too bulky; some applicators can feel like wielding a hairbrush. It's not sticky, and glides on without clumps. Then, not matter what I do, it runs everywhere. I sweat, it runs. I apply eye drops, no matter how carefully, it runs. The slightest brush of the eyelid, it smudges. I do not know who is dainty enough to wear this stuff all day without wearing it under your eyes, but it's definitely not my jam.

New Formula Ruins Mascara
I've used Dr. Hauschka Volume Mascara forever. I cannot remember when I started using it. When I found it, I loved it. I raved about it. It was perfect. Smooth, volumizing without clumping, a tapered, simple brush, it never flaked on me and washed off easily with face wash. PERFECT. It is in a new container now, bulky and fat, the brush is too thick, and most importantly, the mascara itself IS TERRIBLE. It clumps on the first application, leaving little rocks on my lashes that I need to go back and attempt to comb out, then go back and clean off the residue from the clean-up. WHAT A MESS. The original was perfect. I will no longer use or recommend these products. Such a shame. I enjoyed such consumer comfort knowing I had a brand I could return to year after year and expect the same high quality in application, function and safe ingredients. Now the mascara functions no better than a cheap one from a drug store. I cannot emphasize how TERRIBLE this new mascara formula is.
