This mascara is aptly named, “Defining Mascara”. It does color your lashes with a nice rich black shade. It is a very thin, liquid mascara. Because of this, it does not clump but can get somewhat sloppy at times. It doesn’t irritate my eyes and is very easy to remove so there’s no losing lashes in the removal process. Truthfully, it doesn’t look like I have any mascara on! It really doesn’t do much for my eyes. However, if you just want some definition, then this will work well for you.

Good clean mascara
You can always trust Dr. Hauschka products as to being “clean.” It is a little moist but gives good definition. Have used it for years. I alternate every three months, with other products, as I feel it is important to change often for eye health. I would recommend it.

A natural look
This mascara is nice if you are looking for a light application mascara for a natural look. This is not a mascara you can keep applying to create a thicker look. Also, it easily smudges during the day if you accidentally touch your eye area.

Pretty good but not as good as the old stuff
This Lash-Defining mascara has the same good qualities of smoothness, no clumping, easy application as the old Hauschka mascara did. It takes more to apply as if it's thinner than before. Also, there seems to be less in the tube. It doesn't last as long as the old stuff did. Still a pretty good product.
