Elemis Superfood Facial Oil Review
I really like how Elemis facial oil feels on my skin giving it a dewy finish! It absorbs easily in the skin and provides a barrier to keep in moisture important for the winter weather now. The reason I took off one star is its smell. I have had a difficult time getting past its smell, but I am adapting and becoming more used to it over time. The upside of Elemis oil eclipses its smell, I think.

I bought this facial oil after receiving a sample and loving it. It's very rich and moisturizing and didn't break me out, which can definitely be an issue for me with richer products. The scent is sort of herbal-y and not my favorite, but it doesn't deter me from using it. This was my very first facial oil and since then I've tried some others and found something a little lighter weight and with a better scent that I prefer, but for someone who needs something richer, I think this is a great option.

This is a light facial oil. It absorbs quickly and you can layer serums on top as usual. I use it in conjunction with other serums (Vit C and Hyaluronic acid) during the winter months for added moisture for my dry skin. The only complaint I have is about the scent; it reminds me of evergreens. It is a bit strong and it lingers--almost a deal-breaker. I'm still on the fence about this one since I do not like to smell something on my face for hours. Otherwise a good product.

I initially received this as a sample and liked it so much that I ordered a full size. You only need about 3 drops to hydrate the whole face, otherwise your skin can get very greasy. For your face, you just need 3 to 4 drops depends on how dry is your skin. I even put it around orbital bone for my eyes. It absorbs immediately and is not greasy at all. I used it under ELEMIS Superfood Day Cream. It is also good for redness. Only problem is the amount of oil is very little, and I went through it in less than 3 weeks.
