Nice and light
This is the first non-sunscreen Elta skincare product I've tried. So far I really like it. Compared to other barrier creams, it's lightweight and not too thick or heavy, which I like. It absorbs into the skin really well and leaves it feeling soft. I appreciate the moderate price point and will be trying more, based on this one.

great moisturizer
I wanted to review this product after I used a bottle or two. Now that I have, I am ready to say that this product is indeed moisturizing for my skin. I have used the Elta MD line for a number of years. As I have gotten older, the AM moisturizer no longer worked for me. This is much better for my skin.

Elta barrier renewal
I’m on my second bottle of this. It’s a nice lightweight while still feeling moisturizing. I layer it with other products and don’t have a problem with pilling at all. The texture is nice and it absorbs quickly. I haven’t seen any dramatic difference in my skin, but I do enjoy using this product.

Very moisturizing for my sensitized skin
I had some really bad irritation from a chemical sunscreen that left me scaly, dry and itchy. I bought this because almost everything else burned my skin, even my post procedure products. An Overnight Miracle
I first learned about EltaMD Barrier Renewal Complex Facial Moisturizer from my dermatologist. As I have aged, my skin has become very dry and I find that applying this moisturizer every night has eliminated the obvious dryness on my face. It is easy to apply and doesn't have a greasy feeling at all. It also soaks into my skin so it doesn't soil my pillow. I have been extremely happy with it and am so glad that my dermatologist recommended that I use it as the best product to help my dry complexion.

Horrid Reformulation
This used to be a great product, but the reformulation has drastically reduced its quality. On a percentage basis, the ceramides are now basically nonexistent. They used to be among the first-listed ingredients, and now they are close to last. The company also added soybean oil, so it is no longer an oil-free product. Other additions are iffy too. This is not worth the price anymore.
