Nice and light
This is the first non-sunscreen Elta skincare product I've tried. So far I really like it. Compared to other barrier creams, it's lightweight and not too thick or heavy, which I like. It absorbs into the skin really well and leaves it feeling soft. I appreciate the moderate price point and will be trying more, based on this one.

great moisturizer
I wanted to review this product after I used a bottle or two. Now that I have, I am ready to say that this product is indeed moisturizing for my skin. I have used the Elta MD line for a number of years. As I have gotten older, the AM moisturizer no longer worked for me. This is much better for my skin.

I first learned about EltaMD Barrier Renewal Complex Facial Moisturizer from my dermatologist. As I have aged, my skin has become very dry and I find that applying this moisturizer every night has eliminated the obvious dryness on my face. I apply the Barrier Renewal Moisturizer over the EltaMD serum. It goes on smoothly and melts into my skin. I then apply the EltaMD sunscreen over the moisturizer. I also apply a foundation over the sunscreen during the work week. There is no pilling and my skin feels soft and natural throughout the day.
