I originally got this as a nice size sample. I was fortunate enough to use it long enough to peak my interest. It adequately moisturizers without feeling heavy. It's definitely for night but it's not so heavy that you couldn't wear it during the day. Scent free, not greasy, and hasn't prompted any break outs since I've started using it which was nearly a month and a few days. Great on the budget but not a budget product.

Amazing night moisturizer!
I love this moisturizer, it is so rich and moisturizing and feels amazing on my skin. It is the perfect final step in my at night after washing my face and applying my other serums and oils, this moisturizer locks in hydration and leaves my skin feeling so smooth and soft. I like how easily it melts into my skin and although thicker in consistency than the AM moisturizer, it melts into my skin and makes my face, neck and chest feel so soothed and soft. I use other EltaMD products (the AM moisturizer and also the UV Clear sun screen) and I can say without a doubt that each product is high quality and truly has helped the health of my skin.

I confess I'm a little bit fuzzy on the difference between the EltaMD AM and PM moisturizers. However, I've been using them both, and I'm very pleased overall. They moisturize my skin very effectively without causing any breakouts.

Great with tretinoin
I mix this with my tretinoin cream. I have sensitive skin and often experience harsh side effects with tretinoin. The effects are minimized when I mix the two together. I cannot imagine discontinuing tretinoin use, and this moisturizer has allowed me to continue using with minimal side effects.

I LOVE this moisturizer!! Yes, it is on the pricey side but it is so worth it! I love that it is chock-full of skin nourishing goodies but without a bunch of scary chemicals. I have very sensitive skin- literally even hydrocortisone cream stings me some times... but not this product! It feels luxurious and non-greasy. I apply it every night to my entire face- including my eyelids & lips! (Side note- I used to have chapped lips all the time but after I started rubbing a little lotion on them before applying a balm I haven't had an issue... that plus I drink more water lol) I even turned my husband on to it! We are an EltaMD-loving family!

Purchased this during pregnancy since I can’t use my glycolic acid face lotion and I really like it! It’s light, moisturizes well, goes on smooth, and my skin looks hydrated in the morning. I will say, this is NOT a thick PM overnight moisturizer. I do have to apply a second layer over my dryer spots around my cheeks smile lines. Overall, this is a great replacement for this season.
