Like everything about it, except…
…The pump container! It’s too easy to pump out too much product, which then gets wasted. Plus, how will I know when I’m almost out? The product itself, like all EltaMD products, is fabulous. The sheer hint of color gives my skin a little warmth. Very natural looking.

Great sunscreen!
Overall love the tinted sunscreen. The tint is subtle so you still may need makeup if you want more coverage. I prefer the Elta UV Clear 46 if you want a more glowy look.

I like it.
Good for the price. It made my eyes burn the first time I used it, but maybe I put it too close to my eyes. One pump dispenses enough for my face and part of my neck. It has a thin consistency and leaves a slight white shiny finish which is okay since I only use it in the morning before I go out to the garden. I have not yet tried it under foundation.

EltaMD UV Daily SPF 40
This is a nice sunscreen. It absorbs well and doesn’t leave a residue on your face. However, I prefer EltaMD SPF 46 because it is sheer and seems to absorb more quickly. It feels like a nice moisturizer but has the added benefit of providing sun protection.

Almost ideal
Maybe some people have found the holy grail sunscreen for their face. I'm still sorting through the magnitude of that space and options. This is not really a complaint as mush as a desire, I would have scored this product higher if it had higher protection. Having said that, for me this product goes on smoothly and is easy to apply. It looks a little greasy when I'm applying it, but it quickly settles to a pleasant finish. I don't experience my skin looking dry or oily when I use this. For reference, I'm fifty six. Primarily, I have yellow undertones as opposed to pink. The tint works well on my face. The skin on my face is lighter than the skin that is visible on my torso. The tint in this product helps to balance the difference between the two in a natural looking way. I have applied this around my eyes and have not experienced any burning or irritation. Even with daily use, I believe this product will last for a long time.

More than acceptable daily moisturizer
This product was recommended to me by my dermatologist after I had a procedure at her office. What I very much like about it is that it is not a chemical sunscreen and it applies easily. I chose to use the un-tinted form and do not find that it has a white cast. What would make it perfect were if it was a tad more moisturizing. It has hyaluronic acid but I am well old enough that my non-T zone could use a tad more.
