ELTA moisturizing clear 40 spf facial sunscreen
My daily go to for many years. Is very emollient over or without moisturizer. Blends well with tinted ELTA 40 spf on days want a little more color. Not too heavy for morning walks in hot, humid MS summer climate.

Elta daily never a burn
I have been using Elta for about 15 years. They found cancer cells in my lower eyelid. I had surgery and reconstructive surgery. My dermatologist introduced Elta products to me. I have been using the daily for all this time. I love it! I do not look white as if you stepped out of chemo. When you rub it in you do not see it. I am outside the majority of days during the summer. During the school year I walk to and from work so I am outside extensively. As long as I’ve been using the Elta daily, I have not returned home with sunburn or redness from the sun. I carry it with me so that I can put more on during the day. In my office I keep another pump of it. When I’m on extensive walks I squirt some into a smaller container so that it is easy to carry. I do wish elta sold the sample packets as it would be easy to throw those in your purse, since the pump takes up a lot of space if you have a small bag. This is a great product and I strongly recommend it. I have also used Elta clear. I prefer the moisturizer that is in the daily so that is my every day one. I have also recommended this product to family members that were concerned with it causing breakouts on their skin. It did not. I know that it is costly and there are many other options of similar price and lesser price. I do believe the product that is best for you is the one that you’re going to use. I find this is very easy to use as it goes on easily, it rubs in easily and my results over 15 years with a lack of further skin cancer, proves that it is working. Protect your skin now so you do not have to fight with the sun later. Don’t forget to wear sunglasses to protect your eyes!

My favorite face sunscreen is UV Clear SFP 46 from EltaMD. This product works equally well but I prefer a slightly higher SPF.

I came to try EltaMD products after seeing several dermatologists recommend the products. I'm very glad i found those recommendations. I use the tinted version on my face daily. It gives my face a nice, healthy, even glow and I no longer need a foundation. For my neck and decolletage, I use the clear (or white) to protect from sun damage. No stinging in eyes, little to no scent, and great protection. A win, win in the Texas sun

My new holy grail
There's a reason every dermatologist recommends EltaMD - this stuff is THE best! I was given some samples of the UV Clear at my derm's office, and I liked it, but didn't necessarily want to be shiny. The description of this one being more moisturizing and better for dry skin than the clear one (being better for rosacea and acne-prone skin) was more appealing to me, so I ordered a tube of it and am never going back to anything else. I've tried sunscreen after sunscreen and haven't found one that I've loved as much until I found UV Daily. I use a vitamin C serum underneath, then Clinique's Moisture Surge 100-hour hydrator before applying this, and my skin has never looked better - clear, protected, and moisturized. I've already ordered another tube so I don't ever have to go without it.

My go to facial SPF
I have been a EltaMD user for years now and still think it is the best sunscreen out there. It has no white case and for someone over 70 and with very dry skin, it is great. I believe the new formula is a bit more moisturizing and seems shinier than before but it eventually goes away. I love it and will continue using.
