Rosy Tint is very subtle - the tint may not be necessary but the product is as great as ever
I have very fair skin. I've used the EltaMD tinted broad spectrum SPF for over and year and am a huge fan. I use it as a daily day-time moisturizer because I found I do not need any additional daytime moisture beyond that (I live in Houston which has high humidity in hot months and fairly low humidity in cool months, but the EltaMD SPF for face is plenty of moisturizer even in winter). I have been using the standard tint color of tan/beige, which is very nice coverage with just a slight tint that evens out skin tone, so I decided to try the rosy tint. The Rosy Tint has the same high quality coverage and moisturizing effect. I cannot see a huge difference in the effect the tint color has on my face from the tan/beige. Perhaps a person with EXTREMELY fair skin, like a red-haired or blonde person, might prefer the Rosy Tint if the tan/beige leaves a slightly unnatural coloration on her skin. The Rosy is very, very subtle. Still the same great quality and feel.

Everyday Physical Sunscreen
This is my everyday sunscreen! I made the switch to a physical sunscreen and this is my favorite that I’ve tried. It can leave a color cast and needs to be fully rubbed in, but that’s common for physical sunscreen. Once it’s fully rubbed in I can put foundation serum on top and it feels weightless.

Love this sunscreen
I have used EltaMD Physical 41 tinted sunscreen for years, but thought I would give this rosy tint a try. This one is even better. It matches my pale complexion perfectly. I don’t need to wear any foundation over it. Just apply some blush and my skin looks pretty flawless. It is lightweight, neither greasy or drying and it does not pill. It is probably not good for darker skin tones but I love it. The only thing I don't love is the high price. The tube is the same price as the 41 block but you get only about half as much. That is why I took away a star.

Protects well but has white cast
Unfortunate trade off with using non chemical sunscreens is the white cast that is almost impossible to get rid of no matter how much you try to rub it in. Also it tends to pill with or without any other face serums or creams. It does protect against harmful rays well though.

Great sunscreen for fair skin
I have very fair skin and most sunscreens look too dark or orangey on my complexion. This one looks natural, and can easily be layered over Elta Am moisturizer. Glad i found it! Only reason a 4 not a 5 is that sometimes it pills a little.
