I like it is a physical sunscreen, very gentle and non greasy. It has a nice coverage as well. Highly recommend to people who have sensitive and melasma prone skin.

Water resistant sunscreen for sensitive acne prone skin
I love Elta MD sun screens, but I was excited to find this water resistant sun screen. I need extra protection because I have had a course of accutane and use Retin-A nightly, so my skin is very easily sun burnt.

I really like this product. It goes on very smoothly almost like a moisturizer. There is not any scent and the tint is very neutral. I have used a couple of other tinted sunscreens, but this is the best value and it works.

I love this mineral sunscreen because it is: 1. Mineral and not a chemical sunscreen 2. Has antioxidants and moisturizers to help nourish my skin 3. Doubles as a light foundation since it has a tint I wear this year round, and it always matches my skin color and moisturizes the exact amount I need it to.

I like a thicker sunscreen. Lotions don't feel like they give great coverage. This is a good one. Thick but not greasy. The color is also lighter on me than some of the others that give me a yellow cast.

My favorite facial sunscreen
In the past few years, I have tried several tinted facial sunscreens. This one is my favorite. Others have said the EltaMD 46 SPF tinted sunscreen is their favorite, but I didn't like that as it makes my face shiny. This one goes on smooth, and with a finish that doesn't look odd; which would be too shiny or too matte. Since it has a tint, it is like a light foundation, and I only use a bit of under-eye concealer with it and that's it for my face makeup. I have a medium toned complexion, so the color is fine.

I really like how gentle this sunscreen is on my sensitive skin. This sunscreen is also a little more matte than some of Elta's others which is great for me since I have rosacea and adult acne. And, this acts as a great primer with sheer coverage for the weekends and underneath my makeup both. Would highly recommend to anyone looking for a great sunscreen!
