Another quality product from Elta MD
This is a good product to protect the skin from harmful UV rays. I prefer a physical sunscreen, and this one does not disappoint. It is suitable for the face (not heavy or greasy) and I use it on the neck, chest, and back of hands as well. If you are looking for good coverage, ample protection, and clean ingredients, you can't go wrong with this one.

Pasty Covering Sunscreen
While this sunscreen is very effective in protecting my olive skin, I do not like the chalky coating that is left leaving my skin looking pasty and dull. I will try the ELTA Shear.

Good physical sunscreen
I used to use the Elta MD UV Clear sunscreen, which I absolutely loved, but have since made the switch to a physical sunscreen. This one is a good one that I’ve found, I’m ordering a backup for the office. It can leave a white cast so you have to really rub it in, but that’s common for most physical sunscreens I’ve used.

I use the tinted EltaMD physical sunscreens for the face, but this one is perfect for the neck and decollete. It gives good UV protection and a cosmetically elegant finish. Applying a touch of tinted sunscreen on top makes it look even better.

Love this Mineral Sunscreen
I have sensitive skin and easily burn. I have used EltaMD UV Physical for years on my face and neck and absolutely love it. This is the perfect complement to that product for the rest of my body. The skin on my chest is super sensitive and damaged from years of sun exposure and this suncreen does not irritate it at all. It applies easily and does not leave any significant white cast. Seems to stay on well even with water exposure. Love it!

Great SPF forr Sensitive Skin
I have tried MANY SPF products, even more seriously after being diagnosed with a melanoma. This product really covers well, and stays on!!! It does go on "white", but will blend in after some rubbing. I use it particularly on arms and legs. It is great for swimming because it is waterproof. I love that there is no coconut, or other usual SPF fragrance, which I find unpleasant. It has no fragrance to bother allergies. I consider this a great, reliable SPF.

Mineral/Physical Sunscreen. Not chemical.
Active ingredients are mineral/physical, the usual two. I have to use these b/c my skin reacts to chemical screens with lots of inflammation. It’s hard to get away with no white cast whatsoever, but this does about the best job I’ve tried. If you don’t need to use mineral/physical screens, EltaMD has tons of other options.

I have olive skin with a slight tan and this indeed leaves a white cast. However, I just use it when I'm swimming, cycling, or any outdoor activities and it works great. Does not leave a greasy feeling and truly does stay on in the water (it actually takes some effort to scrub off in the shower). I have to use something else all together for my face unless I'm swimming.

The sunscreen is effective but I’m quite surprised at the heavy white residue it leaves. I’ve been very happy with multiple facial sunscreen purchases from EltaMd so I’m a bit surprised by this product. I won’t purchase this item again
