Burned my skin
I was excited for this because it says it’s for sensitive skin however, I felt a burning sensation and had to wash it off immediately. Definitely not for sensitive skin. Bummed I can’t return it so I’ll just have to give it to someone who doesn’t have sensitive skin. I’ll just stick to regular big box store brands.

Disappointing
Have used EltaMD Sunscreen SPF 46 happily for 25 yrs. Because it has been discontinued, I used this product. I am allergic due to the added ingredient to make it water-resistant. Even if I wasn't allergic, I wouldn't use it because I don't want anything I put on my face to be water-resistant. In addition, they have reduced the size of the product to a trial size amount for the same price. Truly a bad decision to discontinue the other product.

What the ????? Samples MUCH different than the actual product
I don't get it. I used multiple samples of this from my dermatologist and loved it. Yes, it went on REALLY, REALLY white but that eventually absorbed in and I was left with a relatively nice feeling product on my face. It had almost zero scent as well, so I decided to order it. What I received seems different than the samples. The first thing I noticed was the consistency.... The samples were pretty thick but the actual product I received was pretty runny. The second thing I noticed was the slight sunscreen smell that the samples did NOT have. I thought maybe it was all my imagination so I went ahead and used it on my face. Although it went on extremely white (just as the samples did) it never absorbed and left my face feeling extremely dry and itchy. By the end of the day I couldn't wait to wash it off my face!!! I will NEVER use his product and just don't understand the difference between the samples from my dermatologist and the actual product. Has something changed? Neither the samples nor the product is expired so I'm just confused.

EXTREMELY UNHAPPY
I bought this product 5/30 especially for my 8/2 vacation to Mexico since I knew I would be out in the sun and water a lot. NEVER AGAIN! It didn't go on easy for starters and my skin looked awful until I washed it off. It didn't sink in and disappear. I also had purchased a new good quality bathing suit and now it doesn't look new. It had white streaks on it for the day I wore it and a white tone on the straps. After washing it, it does look better, but just looks like the fabric is worn and not new. I WOULD NEVER RECOMMEND THIS PRODUCT.

I really wanted to love this sunscreen because of its great reviews and I love other EltaMD products. However, some ingredient(s) didn't agree with me and I broke out in an itchy rash with this particular sunscreen. I'm sure it will be fabulous for other customers but it's not for me.

Elta MD PURE...White Cast
I love Elta MD Sunscreen products and have used them for years, but the Elta MD UV PURE Broad Spectrum SPF47 is not for me. I prefer using natural mineral products of titanium and zinc. The Pure goes on thick and white and leaves a grayish white cast on my face. I will return for one of the tinted Elta sunscreens.

Smells terrible and leaves the thickest white cast you have ever seen!
This literally smells like a cat litter box. Like cat pee to me. It is SO thick and goopy and white and I'm someone with light olive skin. It is sticky, doesn't wash off, smells terrible and I have 75% of the bottle left just sitting here because I just cannot use it anymore.
