I have been using EltaMD sunscreen daily for a few years now and the tinted formulas are great for a light coverage and a subtle glow. I have very fair skin so I mix the tinted in with untinted to tone down the shade a little.

Color is Too Dark for Light Skin Tones
I like the sunscreen except for the tint color, it's way to dark for light colored skin tones. The tint also has a yellow/orange base, which doesn't work for my light, cool skin.

I have been using Elta MD sunscreens for years. I've been using the Elta MD Daily on my face and neck. I thought I would give this one a try. I look forward to seeing if there is any anti-aging and restoring from previous sun damage. It goes on smoothly and any white cast disappears quickly. I may end up alternating between these two facial sunscreens. Both are great products from a great company!!

Tried the tinted Restore after using tinted Daily for a few years. The coverage and spf protection is excellent! Unfortunately in the dry mountain climate, it does not give as much moisturization as the Daily formula.

I normally order Elta MD 46 and this anti aging 40 was ordered in error. The 40 is a slightly heavier formula which adds more moisture but it did leave a white visible caste on my face. I recommend the tinted to avoid the whitish appearance. I have gone back to order the MD 46.

Mineral but hard to wear
I purchased this because I wanted a physical sunscreen and it was rated well on the database of clean products. I've tried using it, but I really dislike it. It's very hard to apply and then put makeup over. It is almost slippery and sometimes creates little pills or flakes. I would return it if the 30 day timeframe was not up.
