Mineral but hard to wear
I purchased this because I wanted a physical sunscreen and it was rated well on the database of clean products. I've tried using it, but I really dislike it. It's very hard to apply and then put makeup over. It is almost slippery and sometimes creates little pills or flakes. I would return it if the 30 day timeframe was not up.

Color is too dark for me

Dries My Skin
I received a free sample of this in one of my orders and liked it enough to give it a try. However, upon regular use, I find that my skin burns for a little while when I put this on! It also leaves a white cast that doesn't look flattering even under makeup. As the day wears on my face looks and feels dry. I find that my fine lines are exacerbated by this sunscreen and I won't be purchasing it again. I think it's going to be demoted for use on my neck and décolleté and not on my face!

Bummer again
Love the EltaMD sunscreen samples but this stuff beads up on my skin if I get just a little hot/sweaty. I live in FL, so there’s really no avoiding that. I guess it’s my own fault for not realizing beforehand that it’s not waterproof. Does feel nice and doesn’t clog pores.

Too much white in product
The product feels good, however, the white in the product doesn't look good on my face. I have been using Elta MD Broad-Spectrum SPF 40 for years. I prefer the Elta MD.

Not a fan of this one
I love other EltaMD products but I'm not a fan of this one, I wish I could return it. It's too thick so it's difficult to apply, and it leaves a white finish on your skin. I guess I'll use it when I work out outside, but definitely not as part of my regular morning ritual. I won't be buying it again.

Disappointed
EltaMD is a great brand. I love several of their sunscreens. I was excited about this sunscreen since I can’t wear any chemical sunscreen on my face due to causing reactions. My excitement went quickly to disappointment as soon as I applied. It is very drying and does not apply well. I do have dry skin, so maybe it will work better with someone with very oily skin!

I am not very impressed with this product. It takes several pumps to cover your face. It is thick and has a greasy texture that doesn’t absorb as well as original Elta MD sunscreen. It’s too soon to tell if it fades dark spots. I will not repurchase this.

I have been using Elta sunscreen for so man years. I was excited to hear about a new product. I am not a fan of the new product. First, I do not like the way it comes out. It is not continuous. Also, it is very thick and it just does not go on smooth. Sorry, very disappointed.
