Good choice when exercising outside
This is my go-to sunscreen for my face, neck and hands when I'm exercising outside. It makes the skin look very shiny, so perhaps it's not the best choice for other occasions.

I just used this today for the first time on a hike in really warm weather, and it did not sting my eyes at all. This is a great sunscreen for active or sport use and if you'll be sweating or swimming. It goes on very smooth and spreads easily. I have dry skin and this kept my skin feeling moisturized as well. I did not have any breakouts, and I did not get sunburned at all. I will definitely be buying this again as I am a runner and this will be perfect for that.

For outdoor sports
This is very greasy and def would leave you a heavy white cast. At the same time, it is truly water-resistant, and I trust the SPF 50. The application cannot compare with other sunscreen Elta carried (I use UV clear daily) but would be a good choice for sweaty sports day.

Summer sunscreen
I wear this Elta sunscreen in the summer because it has a higher SPF, so it's good for heat and sweat. I use it primarily on my neck and chest because it stings my eyes for some reason. It is clear and lightweight. In the winter I wear the Clear 46 Elta, which, in my opinion, is a perfect daily sunscreen because it's broad spectrum and completely sheer. It also doesn't interact negatively with my other skincare products.

My dermatologist is using this in his practice. Therefore, I switched to this sunscreen. After using it for about a month, I feel it is very effective. Before, I got tanned so quick after under the sun for a while. After using this sunscreen, I feel I remain to my own skin tone. It is light but is a little oily. If I need foundation, I apply less. It works well too. I will not use any other brands anymore. This size is a good deal, but the 3 oz. size is good for putting it in the purse for easy carry and can apply anytime.

My husband's choice!
My husband wears glasses and has a beard, so he hates any greasy sunscreen which ends up getting on his glasses and doesn't like any sunscreen that is too thick and gets stuck in the edge of his beard. This one is not at all greasy, goes on white but is invisible when dry, is fairly thin and rubs in quickly, and has never caused a breakout. I think this is an effective, easy sunscreen to use. (I can only use purely physical sunscreens due to super sensitive facial skin, but I do use this on my arms and shoulders).
