Weirdest Consistency

I had high hopes for this serum from all the great reviews, but when I first received it, the first thing I noticed was its jelly-like consistency. It almost felt like it should have been the stonecrop cleanser instead of a serum. The second thing I noticed was that when I rubbed it in my hands before patting it onto my face, it seemed to lather in my hands. Really odd. It pilled with some products I use, others not, but overall I haven't seen any kind of difference while using this serum; wouldn't recommend it.
