The Best For Medically Dry Lips
I started getting infusions (Infliximab) for Crohn’s Disease, then my lips would get more chapped than ever before. I’m assuming it’s a side effect of the medicine. In my life previously, I’d occasionally get dry lips, which I would use various types and brands of lip balms or Aquaphor. This would take care of my dry lips. After the infusions started, my lips would get so dry that they would start splitting or getting small little cracks. I noticed that being in the sun would perpetuate it. It hurt so bad and was a huge detriment to the quality of my life and a hindrance romantically with my wife. None of the previously used products would take care of this new condition, that I am now presented with. I eventually found FixMySkin Healing Lip Balm, which I now use nightly before bed. The Balm works over night and puts the essential moisture back into my dry skin. The dry skin eventually sloughs off and reveals new soft, moist skin underneath. My lips have never felt better! I've been using this for 4 weeks. My lips are definitely softer! I wish it was a bit more moisturizing; my lips feel more dry compared to my previous lip balm, which may not be as big an issue in areas of the country where the climate is milder. I will definitely buy this again.
