Great Lid Primer
This is a great lid primer. My lids tend to be pink so I need a primer to minimize the pink and neutralize the skin tone. This does the trick.

My eyelids tend to be a bit reddish. I wanted a product that would help conceal this for my preferred “little-to-no- makeup” look. I am an elder, and this base applies smoothly, dries quickly, & doesn’t settle Into lines as some eye shadow primers can. It’s subtle, & can be used alone as well as with a matte cream color eyeshadow I sometimes wear; & I like to use clean ingredients products whenever possible.

Best eye base ever
For several years I have tried various bases to reduce redness and smooth my eyelids This Glo Skin eye base is the winner; use ordered two more in Organza, a nice natural neutral color. Read reviews about it being hard to use, that was not my experience. I dab a few spots on with the applicator, then use an eye shadow brush to even it out. After letting it set a little love the way eye shadow goes on and stays put. Other bases can cause more irritation/redness than they conceal, but this one seems nice and mild. Love it!

I fell for the claims that this is an eye shadow primer that smooths out skin, evens out any discolorations and extends the wear of eye shadows. In short, it did not do well on any of those claims, except it was a decent color match. Not matter how I applied - brush, fingertip, and how much or little I used, it creased and did not extend the wear of my eye makeup one bit. I tried to make it work for a month and then threw it out. Money wasted, I do not recommend.

This product was thick- and I thought hard to apply. To be fair- my eyelids are very wrinkled- and I’m sure that was part of the problem. I did like that it didn’t have shimmer in it though.

Good for mature skin
Finally I’ve found a good eye base product. It goes on smooth and doesn’t dry out or get flaky like other eye primers. You can wear it alone and even put your eyelid color or use as a base. I use it under cream eyeshadow.
